Session on: Anti-microbial and Medicinal Plant
An antimicrobial is an agent that kills or stops the growth of microorganisms. Antimicrobial medicines can be grouped by the microorganisms against which they primarily act. Until now, only a few antibiotics have been isolated in pure form from the higher plants.
Medicinal plants, commonly known as medicinal herbs, have been found and used in ancient medicinal practices since prehistoric times. There are records of herbs from the Sumerian civilization, where on clay tablets are listed hundreds of medicinal plants including opium.
Medicinal Plants and Antibiotics from Plants:
Garlic: Garlic has been used medicinally for thousands of years by cultures around the world.
Ginger: Ginger is best known for its antinausea effects, and antibacterial, antiviral, antioxidant and anti-parasitic properties, to name just several of its more than 40 scientifically confirmed pharmacological actions.
Colloidal silver: It has been known for centuries as an effective antibiotic. Recent research has also shown that colloidal silver can destroy microbes resistant to antibiotics such as MRSA, bird flu, and SARS.
Oil of Oregano: Without disrupting beneficial bacteria, it takes care of pathogenic bacteria. Carvacrol is the key antimicrobial ingredient in oregano oil.
Echinacea: Echinacea was used to treat open wounds, diphtheria, blood poisoning and other diseases associated with bacteria. Today, because of its ability to destroy the most dangerous forms of bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, which causes deadly MRSA, this potent herb is mainly used for colds and flu.
Manuka Honey: Maybe the most appealing antibiotic comes in the manuka honey form. Applied topically, it can kill a wide variety of pathogens including MRSA and bacteria that eat flesh.
Peppermint: Peppermint offers benefits to the respiratory system for cough, cold, asthma, allergies, and tuberculosis, among others. It can also relax your bowel muscles, allow gas to pass through and relieve abdominal pain.

Session on: Plant Bio-technology
Biotechnology of plants is a method of using science and technology in plants, parts, products and models, changing living or inert materials to develop knowledge, goods and services. Plant biotechnology is still a relatively new undertaking in the sense of using recombinant DNA techniques to improve crops or producing valuable molecules in plants. Plant biotechnology will facilitate crop farming, especially in the absence of pesticides, with multiple lasting resistance to pests and diseases. Genetic engineering and transformation techniques have helped to produce transgenic plants with desirable characteristics such as disease resistance, insect resistance and herbicide resistance, and can also be used to increase photosynthetic efficiency, nitrogen fixation, improved protein storage, hybrid crops, etc.
Therefore, the possibilities for improving current products and making new products by means of plant biotechnology are, in principle, almost limitless.

Session on: Plant Breeding and Molecular Breeding
Plant breeding is a method of altering plant genetic patterns to increase its value and usefulness for human well-being. The method of using molecular biology tools in Plants for breeding is defined as Molecular Breeding. The purpose of plant reproduction is to improve the hereditary breeding of plant trimming species in order to comply with changing business demands on yield and quality. In the Breeding the most important methods are mass selection, Development of hybrid varieties and Development of synthetic varieties.
Steps Involved in the Plant Breeding:
We can also use organic farming through plant breeding and the modern plant breeding techniques are transgenic plants and green revolution and plant breeding in organic farming. Genetic engineering is also a method for adding foreign genes or genes to an organism's genome. A gene contains information that gives the organism a characteristic. Selection method is the oldest breeding method and is also known as the German method or broad breeding method as it has been used in Germany to improve sugar beets and small grains like rye and wheat.

Session on: Plant Tissue Culture
Plant tissue culture is a method of techniques used on a known composition nutrient culture medium to maintain or grow plant cells, tissues or organs under sterile conditions. It also helps plants grow from where they were wrongly cut off or from the injured part of the plant. Plant tissue cultures are generally derived from multicellular tissue fragments, known as explants, derived from living plants. These explants may be derived from a wide variety of plant tissues such as leaf, stem, root, hypocotyl, cotyledon, embryo, or meristem.
Types of Plant tissue culture:
In addition, the production of somaclonal and gametoclonal variants is considered to be the most efficient crop improvement technology. The benefits of plant tissue cultivation can offer some advantages over traditional propagation methods. The process of growing new plants from a variety of sources is plant propagation: seeds, cuttings and other plant components.

Session on: Plant Genetics and Epigenetics
Plant genetics is the study of plant-specific genes, genetic variation, and heredity. Genetic factors inherited from parental crops determine the physical appearance of plants. Many genetic techniques such as selection or genetic engineering can alter the natural transfer of genes. Not only are epigenetics genes that make us. Epigenetics in the modern sense is the term used to describe inheritance by mechanisms other than the gene sequence of DNA. Epigenetics works by adding chemical tags to the chromosomes that have an effect on or off switching genes. While genetics looks at genetic code expression, epigenetics is the study of the other factors influencing how and when a gene is expressed.
Transgene is the method of introducing a gene into the genome of another organism artificially. The construction of Transgene must be assembled with few main parts, which are: promoter and exon, these combined in a bacterial plasmid and need to choose the transgenes with the previously known functions for coding sequences.

Session on: Plant Nanotechnology
Within plant sciences and plant production systems, nanotechnology has great potential. In plant nanotechnology, these flowers have a secret signal that is tailored specifically for bees so they know where to collect Nectar. And new research has just provided us with a better understanding of how this signal works. Nanoscale patterns on the petals replicate lightweight in a very method that effectively creates a "blue halo" around the flower, helping to attract the bees and fecundate them. Plants are actually full of this kind of "nanotechnology” that enables them to do all kinds of amazing things, from cleaning themselves to generating energy. And what's more, we might be able to use them in our own technologies by studying these systems.

Session on: Plant Signaling
Plant signaling is a method used to transmit information within and between plant cells in response to changes in light, dark and temperature. These signals can take many forms, including chemical and electrical, and can occur locally within a single plant or between different plants, including different species of plants. Plant communicating is usually one form of local signaling for eukaryotic cells through direct contact. The plant uses many methods of transmitting information within itself, but the three main ways of connecting the cells are: gap junctions, tight junctions, and desmosomes.

Session on: Plant Hormones
Plant hormones are plant - based signal molecules that occur at extremely low concentrations. Growth regulators of a plant are also known as plant hormones, which coordinate plant development. In agriculture and horticulture, plant hormones are used to have a specific developmental effect. Auxins were the first class of plant hormones to be discovered and their main function is to help plants grow and it stimulates plant cells to elongate. Many plant hormones were found, but the five major plant hormones were Auxins, Gibberellin, Cytokinin, Ethylene and Abscisic acid. These five plant hormones can work alone or independently to influence the growth of plants. Ethylene is the most commonly used and important in plant Hormones as it is used in fruit ripening, plant senescence and also as a stress signal for plants for wound healing and infections.

Session on: Horticulture and Landscaping
The application of science to horticulture is called horticulture technology. It is a method used to cultivate food, comfort and beauty plants. Gardening done in a small scale is called horticulture, where agriculture is done in a large scale with many types of crop cultivation. Landscaping is a method of activity that alters the visible features of small scale areas. The benefits of well-designed and maintained Landscape are to reduce the Erosion, Sediment losses and Stormwater runoff. Horticulture industry has been divided into three areas: Pomology, Olericulture and Ornamental Horticulture. Landscaping trees and shrubs reduce air pollutants such as ozone, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxides and chromium from the environmental.

Session on: Seed Science and Technology
Seeds are the starting point for most plants and crops to be produced. Seed technology addresses methods to improve seed physical and genetic properties. Many researchers have been working in seed genetics and technology over the past 50 years, which have been responsible for increasing crop productivity worldwide. There are two major seed categories: dicotylledonic and monocotylledonic. Normally, seeds live in a dormant state, which requires very little of the resources needed to stay alive until they are in the right conditions to grow. In the next 30 years, cereal production alone will have to increase by approximately one billion tons to meet global needs. Additional research advances in seed genetics and technology will be critical to meeting future world food, fiber and energy needs.

Crop science is a highly integrative science, including plant breeding, transgenic crop improvement, plant physiology and improved agronomic varieties, using an advanced crop system and local crops to produce food, feed, fuel and fiber for growing populations. The cell wall of plants is specifically used in the form of paper, textiles, fibers (cotton, flax, hemp and others), coal, lumber and other wood products. Other important uses of plant cell walls are extracted polysaccharides, which have been modified to produce plastics, films, coatings, adhesives, gels and thickeners in a wide range of products. Arable agriculture is a type of crop that produces a wide range of annual crops. There are several different types of arable crops, depending on the type of use. These include: grain crops; grown grasses and millets grown for wheat, maize, rice, barley and proso millet.

Session on:Soil Science and Soil-Plant Nutrition
For plants, soil is important because it has roots that provide plant support and store nutrients. The plants need water and the soil has minerals, while the air has carbon dioxide. The important elements required by plants are macronutrients and micronutrients. Soil quality is a major factor in the distribution and growth of plants. Loam soil is the best soil for the plants, as it contains a nice balance of silt, sand, and clay along with humus. The factors that make this soil type so desirable and good for growing plants include: Higher pH level and the best pH for the most plant is 6.0 to 7.0.

Session on: Forest Science and Technology
Forest Science is a complex ecosystem consisting mainly of trees buffering the earth and supporting a myriad lifestyle. Forest Trees help create a different environment that, in turn, affects all kinds of animals and forest plants. Growing lot of trees around us helps to have a clean air and shadow on the hot days and it also conserve heat and attractive sounds. From the beginning forest provides a habitat for many species of Plants and Animals. In the world the Tropical rainforest have the most biodiverse habitats of other rainforest. Forest has three major types they are: Tropical, Temperate, Boreal forests (taiga).

Session on: Future Scope of Plant Science
A lot of techniques are coming with the advent of new advances each day. This has also had an impact on plant science. In addition to traditional and conventional methods, many new agricultural techniques, new plant - based products and new innovations have come in which plant science can become more advanced and up - to - date. Few of these recent developments have been mentioned. Micro Irrigation System is a type of irrigation system that supplies water via small devices. This can be done by spraying, sprinkling or dropping water on the lands of the crops. The plants are offered water by spraying water on the plant’s surface or directly deep into their roots. It is a very popular technique in all parts that may be arid region or humid region because it saves water and prevents the plants from being given any excess water.

For the lifting off of plant science in Europe, the 2019 global market is arguably an eminent and discrenable one. Plants are the most important requirement for a stable and sustainable food chain. In terms of both agriculture and oxygen, it affects human life. Agriculture is expected to be the world's largest industry and is estimated to increase food demand by around 62% by 2050.
Market Research in Europe:
France (Europe) is the sixth largest farmer in the world and accounts for one third of all EU agricultural activities. In Europe, the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the Uruguay Round of the General Tariff and Trade Agreement were enacted. A lot of improved reforms in the plant and agricultural sector were noticed in Europe as a result of this implementation.
More than half of the EU's seed and Plant Reproductive Material (PRM) market is led by Germany, France and Italy. This PRM market is the third largest market in the world. The EU plant science seed market reached around £7bn in 2012. Europe delineates about 20% of the global market. In the EU there are about 7000 seed companies employing 50,000 people mostly from France, the Netherlands, Romania, Poland, Germany and Italy.
It was also expected that the plant - based protein market would grow at a sinewy rate worldwide. During periods 2012 - 2017, the plant - based protein market is experiencing remarkable growth.
To reflect a market value of about £13.18, it is expected to grow at a CAGR value of 5.7% throughout the prediction period.

Market Research in Czech Republic:
The Czech Republic's economic reform continues, and the country is an OECD member. Changes in economic priorities were made in 1998, which had a positive impact on agriculture. Gross agricultural production is increasing following some fluctuations. In Agriculture, the State Market Regulation Fund increased significantly and influenced market regulation for major products such as cereals and milk.
Czech Republic has now applied for EU membership and significant progress has been made in harmonizing EU policies and legislation. The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) modes are being studied by special units within the Ministry of Agriculture. The Czech Republic is expected to be one of the first four to join the EU.
The main crops are grains (wheat, rye, barley, oats, and maize) that support the dozens of small breweries in the Czech Republic. In 1999 production included 4,028,000 tons of wheat; 2,227,000 tons of barley; 206,000 tons of rye; 179,000 tons of oats; and 260,000 tons of corn. The Czech Republic is the highest per capita beer - consuming nation in the world at 166 liters (44 gallons) per person. In the Czech Republic there is a long tradition of brewing; some of the oldest brands in the world have been invented there.
Why Czech Republic?
The Czech Republic is the largest producer of hops in Europe after Germany; production was 6,000 tons in 1999. Other important crops are oilseeds, beets of sugar, potatoes and apples.
In the field of agriculture, Czech Republic is a developing county and the government has supported many farmers who have grown year - on - year.
There are 39 PhD’s in plant and crop science in Czech Republic and there are many plant science research centres.
In their support for more crop biotechnology, Czech scientists and farm groups are vocal. With its rational and scientific approach to agricultural biotechnology, scientists and academia do not hesitate to publicly dispel myths spread by some non-governmental entities.
The Czech Republic is part of a consortium with the Agricultural Research Service of the USDA and several new EU Member State research institutions (such as the French INRA) that developed a bioengineered plum tree called HoneySweet that is resistant to the plum pox virus.
