Plant ecology deals with the study of distribution, abundance, and relationship of plants with each other and to their environment. The four main levels of ecological study are organism, population, community, and ecosystem. There are different types of ecology like community ecology, landscape ecology, forest ecology, population ecology, behavioral ecology, and so on. It majorly talks about plant-soil relationship, adaptation with other living organisms in that environment, food, and water availability as well as factors like temperature, climate, solar radiation. There also exists biological interaction like competition, mutualism, predation, parasitism, commensalism, local extinction.
