The study also involves identification of the pathogen, disease epidemiology, impact on humans and animals, disease etiology, economic impact, symptoms on plants, mechanism and interaction between the disease-causing agent and plants, producing disease-resistant traits. Spraying of pesticides, insecticides can be a tool to avoid plant diseases.
